Dolphins vs Sea Eagles

Have you seen The Rescuers Down Under? It's my favorite animated classic Disney film! The main character is a kangaroo mouse named Bernard who goes on a wildlife rescue mission to Australia. He meets a feisty little bird named Marahute who becomes his guide and mentor on his journey.

Upon his arrival, Bernard begins to question the land's most notorious animal, a fearsome sea eagle named McLeach. McLeach is so large and intimidating that he causes the smaller animals to tremble in fear. Unlike most of his peers, Bernard does not cower away from McLeach. Instead, he calls him out for being a bully, a thief, and a predator.

Bernard's boldness inspires hope in the smaller animals who have lived in fear of McLeach. They rally together to create a plan to rescue a baby boy named Cody, who McLeach had kidnapped. The plan is a risky one, and Bernard almost loses his life to a hungry crocodile, but they ultimately save Cody and teach McLeach that his reign of terror is over.

There is one scene that always makes my heart leap. Bernard has been cornered, and his life hangs in the balance. Marahute arrives with a group of dolphins to scare away McLeach's goons and give Bernard a chance to escape. The dolphins do not know Bernard, but they are willing to risk their lives to defend him. Their courage proves that even the big animals should not be feared.

Dolphins are incredibly social and intelligent creatures, and they are often seen helping other animals. They have been known to rescue humans from drowning and work together to hunt for food. Sea eagles, on the other hand, are solitary predators that will attack anything that comes into their territory.
