"Gbogbo ọjọ́ ni ìgbà tuntun" — “Every day is a new day.” This Yoruba proverb captures the belief that each day is an opportunity for a fresh start, for cleansing our hearts and minds. And it's a fitting message for Easter. For Christians, Easter is a time of great hope and joy, centered around the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ victory over death and sin opened the way for us to have a new and abundant life. But what does this mean for us, personally?
