Emannuel Folgueras: The Man Who Couldn't Stop Giving Advice

Emannuel Folgueras was a kind and well-meaning man, but he had one fatal flaw: he couldn't stop giving advice. It didn't matter who he was talking to or what the situation was, Emannuel always had an opinion and he was always willing to share it.
One day, Emannuel was walking down the street when he saw a group of people gathered around a man who was trying to fix his car. Emannuel couldn't resist butting in and offering his help.
"Excuse me," he said, "I couldn't help but notice that you're having a little trouble with your car. I'm Emannuel Folgueras, and I'm a bit of a mechanic myself. I'd be happy to take a look."
The man looked at Emannuel skeptically, but he agreed to let him take a look. Emannuel spent the next hour tinkering with the car, but he couldn't figure out what was wrong. Just when he was about to give up, he had a sudden epiphany.
"I've got it!" he exclaimed. "The problem is that the fuel line is clogged. All you need to do is replace it."
The man was so grateful that he offered to pay Emannuel for his help, but Emannuel refused. "It's my pleasure," he said. "I'm always happy to help."
Emannuel continued on his way, feeling good about himself for helping someone in need. But as he walked, he couldn't help but notice that the same group of people was still gathered around the car.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"The car still won't start," the man said.
Emannuel sighed. "Well, it's probably something more serious than I thought," he said. "I'm not sure I can help."
"Please," the man said. "You're the only one who's offered to help."
Emannuel couldn't say no, so he spent the next two hours trying to fix the car. Finally, he found the problem: the fuel pump was broken.
"I've got it!" he exclaimed. "The fuel pump is broken. All you need to do is replace it."
The man was so grateful that he offered to pay Emannuel again, but again, Emannuel refused. "It's my pleasure," he said. "I'm always happy to help."
Emannuel continued on his way, feeling even better about himself for helping someone in need. But as he walked, he couldn't help but notice that the same group of people was still gathered around the car.
"What's going on now?" he asked.
"The car still won't start," the man said.
Emannuel was starting to get frustrated, but he knew he couldn't give up now. He spent the next three hours trying to fix the car, but nothing he did seemed to work.
Finally, Emannuel had to admit defeat. "I'm sorry," he said. "I can't fix your car."
The man was disappointed, but he understood. "Thanks for trying," he said.
Emannuel walked away from the car, feeling like a failure. He had tried his best to help, but it wasn't enough.
As he walked, he couldn't help but think about all the times he had given advice to people. He had always thought he was helping, but maybe he was just making things worse.
Emannuel decided that he needed to change his ways. He couldn't keep giving advice to people unless he was sure that he knew what he was talking about.
From that day on, Emannuel Folgueras only gave advice when he was asked for it. And even then, he always made sure to qualify his advice by saying, "This is just my opinion. Take it or leave it."
Emannuel's friends and family were relieved by the change in his behavior. They didn't mind him giving advice, but they didn't want to feel like they had to take it.
Emannuel Folgueras eventually became a respected member of his community. He was known as a kind and helpful man, but he was also known for his caution when it came to giving advice.
