Euro 2024 groups: The making of future footballing legends




The UEFA European Championship, commonly known as the Euros, is one of the most prestigious tournaments in international football. Held every four years, it brings together the best teams from Europe to compete for the coveted trophy.

The 17th edition of the Euros will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will feature 24 teams, divided into six groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, along with the four best third-placed teams.

The draw for the group stage took place on October 9, 2023, and the results were as follows:

  • Group A: Germany, France, Portugal, Hungary
  • Group B: Netherlands, England, Italy, Turkey
  • Group C: Spain, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine
  • Group D: Croatia, Belgium, Denmark, Austria
  • Group E: Czech Republic, Switzerland, Norway, Serbia
  • Group F: Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The group stage will be played from June 14 to June 26, with the knockout stage beginning on June 29. The final will be held on July 14 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
