I rith an Aeir an Earraigh a tháinig an scéal. Bhí an gealach ag faire ar an spéir shamhlaithe, a solas ag titim ar na sráideanna boghma na cathrach. Bhí na foirgnimh ard ag seasamh mar gardaí toirtheacha ag cosaint na sráideanna bheaga os a gcionn.
Bhí an t-ábhar ann cheana i gcomhráiteanna na ndaoine le tamall. Bhí spriocanna déanta acu, aislíní cothaithe ag tosnú dul i gcrích. Ag an am céanna, bhí na forálacha ann chun na haislíní sin a bhaint amach. Bhí an chéim seo den turas ar siúl le fada, agus anois bhí an rannpháirtí deiridh ag dlúthú.
The Longitude 2025 initiative was born out of this need to connect the dots, to build a bridge between the aspirations of our people and the resources available to make them a reality.
A Journey of a Thousand Miles
The journey to 2025 is not without its challenges. There will be obstacles along the way, and there will be times when we will doubt our ability to succeed. But we must remember that every great journey begins with a single step.
We have come too far to give up now. We have invested too much time, effort, and resources to let this opportunity slip through our fingers.
The Power of Collaboration
This is not a journey that we can undertake alone. It will require the collaboration of all stakeholders, from government and business to civil society and academia.
We must work together to create a roadmap for the future, a roadmap that will guide us towards our goals. We must share our knowledge, our expertise, and our resources.
A Call to Action
I urge you all to join me on this journey. Let us work together to build a better future for our people, a future that we can all be proud of.
The time for action is now. Let us seize this opportunity and make 2025 a year to remember.
