FAI Cup draw: Waterford host holders Derry, Bohemians face Shelbourne




The draw for the first round of the 2023 FAI Cup was made on Monday morning, with some intriguing ties in store.
Holders Derry City will travel to Waterford, while Bohemians will host Shelbourne in a Dublin derby.
Waterford will be looking to make a statement against the holders, Derry City, who will be aiming to retain the trophy they won last season.
Bohemians will be favourites against Shelbourne, but the Reds will be looking to cause an upset.
Other notable ties include Sligo Rovers hosting Shamrock Rovers, and Dundalk travelling to Drogheda United.
The first round ties will be played on the weekend of March 18/19.
