The business was founded in 1981 by Tom W. Dunaway, III, as a solo practice situated in Anderson, South Carolina. In 2016, Thomas W. "Field" Dunaway, IV, joined the firm after serving as an Assistant Solicitor for the 10th Judicial Circuit of South Carolina for several years. Working alongside Tom W. Dunaway, III, they expanded their direct and practical approach to serve a larger clientele. Today, the Dunaway name has been present on the Wilhite Geisberg Marianos building located on the corner of S. McDuffie Street and E. River Street for more than 40 years, offering exceptional legal assistance to all who walk through its doors.
