Fight of the Round

The Sydney Cricket Ground, also known as the SCG, has been the setting for many a legendary battle - and a grand final or two. On Thursday night, the two greatest rivals in Sydney's inner-west rugby league will do battle again. The Wests Tigers and South Sydney Rabbitohs are set to face off for the second time this season, and the first time at the SCG since 2017.
There will be plenty of star power on display, with the likes of Benji Marshall, James Tedesco, and Greg Inglis all set to feature. But it's the battle up front that will be the most fascinating.
The Tigers have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NRL this season, but they showed signs of improvement in their last outing against the Panthers. They'll need to be at their best against a Rabbitohs pack that is one of the most dangerous in the competition.
The Rabbitohs have been in impressive form this season, and they'll be looking to continue their winning ways against the Tigers. They'll be without the suspended Sam Burgess, but they have plenty of other stars in their side to cover his absence.
The match is sure to be a close one, and it could go either way. The Tigers will be looking to make a statement, while the Rabbitohs will be looking to consolidate their position in the top four.
Key Match-ups:
Benji Marshall v Cody Walker
James Tedesco v Greg Inglis
Aaron Woods v Tom Burgess
Prediction:
Rabbitohs by 6 points.
