If you're a nature lover like me, then you know that there's nothing quite like visiting a beautiful garden. The colors, the scents, and the peacefulness can all be so restorative. Traveling from one garden to another is one of my favorite things to do. The last few years, I've been lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful gardens in the world. And today, I'm going to share my top 3 with you.
1. Gardens of Versailles, France
The Gardens of Versailles are one of the most famous gardens in the world, and for good reason. They're absolutely stunning. The gardens were designed by André Le Nôtre in the 17th century, and they're a perfect example of the French formal garden style. The gardens are full of beautiful fountains, statues, and flowers. And of course, there's the iconic Hall of Mirrors.
I visited the Gardens of Versailles on a sunny day in May, and they were even more beautiful than I had imagined. I spent hours wandering through the gardens, admiring the flowers and taking pictures. I even took a boat ride on the Grand Canal. It was a truly magical experience.
2. Butchart Gardens, Canada
Butchart Gardens is located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It's a beautiful garden that's open year-round. The gardens were created by Jennie Butchart in the early 1900s, and they're now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Canada.
Butchart Gardens is home to a wide variety of plants and flowers. There are over 500 different species of plants in the gardens, including roses, tulips, and rhododendrons. The gardens are also home to a number of fountains, sculptures, and other works of art.
I visited Butchart Gardens in the summer, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The flowers were in full bloom and the scents were incredible. I spent hours wandering through the gardens, taking pictures and enjoying the scenery. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
3. Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands
Keukenhof Gardens is located in Lisse, Netherlands. It's the world's largest flower garden, and it's only open for a few weeks each year in the spring. The gardens are home to over 7 million bulbs, which bloom into a riot of color in the spring.
I visited Keukenhof Gardens in April, and it was like something out of a dream. The flowers were everywhere, and the colors were so vibrant. I spent hours wandering through the gardens, taking pictures and enjoying the scenery. It was a truly magical experience.
