"Hello, Foch Legarla," the butterfly said in a gentle voice. "My name is Aurelia, and I have a secret to tell you."
.
Foch Legarla was amazed to hear the butterfly speak, but he listened intently as Aurelia told him her secret. "I can grant you three wishes," she said, "But be careful what you wish for, for not all wishes are wise."
Foch Legarla's First Wish
Foch Legarla thought for a moment. His mind raced with possibilities. Finally, he said, "I wish for a new bicycle."
.
As soon as he uttered the words, a brand-new, gleaming blue bicycle appeared before him. Foch Legarla was overjoyed. He thanked Aurelia and rode the bike around the village, feeling the wind in his hair and the sun on his face.
Foch Legarla's Second Wish
For his second wish, Foch Legarla wished for a never-ending bag of candy.
A moment later, a large bag filled with all kinds of sugary treats appeared in his hand. Foch Legarla couldn't believe his luck. He ate candy all day long, but to his surprise, the bag never emptied.
Foch Legarla's Third Wish
For his third and final wish, Foch Legarla struggled to think of something he truly desired. He had a bicycle, a bag of candy, and everything he could possibly want. But then he realized what his heart truly longed for.
"I wish for more time with my family and friends," Foch Legarla said.
As soon as he spoke the words, Foch Legarla found himself surrounded by his loved ones. His parents, his siblings, and even his aunts and uncles were there, all smiling and laughing together. Foch Legarla knew that this was the best wish of all.
Foch Legarla and the Lesson of the Butterfly
Aurelia the butterfly watched Foch Legarla with a warm smile. "You have been wise in your wishes, Foch Legarla," she said. "Remember, not all wishes are created equal. The most important things in life are not material possessions but the love and happiness of those around us."
As the sun began to set, Aurelia fluttered away, leaving Foch Legarla with a lifetime of memories and the knowledge that true happiness can be found in the simplest of things.
