Formance Tiny Home

Tiny homes are gaining massive popularity. More and more people are buying a Formance tiny home. If you have not heard of this before let me tell you what a Formance tiny home is.

Formance tiny home has two parts to it: Formance + tiny home.

Let’s start with a tiny home. A tiny home is a home that is under 400 square feet. The area coverage can change from place to place but the idea is that a tiny house is not a traditional concrete or wood construction multi family home.

It is rather an eco friendly small place to live made with mostly recycled material. Tiny homes can have wheels so you can move them easily to a new location or you can get them planted on your land.

All you have to do is hook them with electricity and plumbing and you are good to go.

You can buy ready made tiny homes or have the manufacturer build a custom home based on your specifications.

Now let’s talk about the second part: Formance. The thing with tiny homes is that it is usually built with metal shipping containers. This means it does not have the traditional wall, roof and flooring that comes with a home.

But this can cause a problem because this also means that your home is not well insulated. And it is never a good idea to have the inner environment of your home the same as the outer environment. You do not want to suffer extreme heat or cold.

Formance build SIPs (Structural Insulation Panels). These structural insulation panels can be used for walls, roofs, and floors. You use them to insulate your tiny homes so your tiny homes are not affected by external weather conditions and you can live comfortably in them.
So a Formance tiny home is basically a well-insulated tiny home.
