Francis Tolentino: A Man of Action and Vision

Francis Tolentino is a man of action and vision. He has served the Filipino people in various capacities, including as a lawyer, politician, and government official. He is currently the Majority Leader of the Philippine Senate and is known for his tireless work on behalf of his constituents.
Tolentino was born in Guinobatan, Albay, on January 3, 1960. He obtained his law degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1984. After graduating, he worked as a lawyer for several years before entering politics.

In 2001, Tolentino was elected to the Philippine Senate. He served in the Senate for two terms, from 2001 to 2013. In 2013, he was appointed as the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government. He served as Secretary for two years, from 2013 to 2015.
In 2016, Tolentino was elected as the Majority Leader of the Philippine Senate. He has served in this role since 2016.
