Freshworks layoffs




Hi everyone, I'm writing to you today to share some news that is both difficult and necessary. As you know, Freshworks has been facing a number of challenges in recent months, including a decline in our stock price and increasing competition in the market. We have been working hard to address these challenges, but unfortunately, we have not been able to achieve the results we need.

As a result, we have made the difficult decision to lay off 660 employees, which represents approximately 13% of our global workforce. This was not an easy decision, and we are deeply saddened to have to let go of so many talented and dedicated people.

The affected employees will be receiving severance packages and other support services to help them transition to new roles. We are also committed to providing them with as much support as possible during this difficult time.

We know that this news is difficult to hear, and we want to thank you for your understanding. We are confident that these changes will allow us to better focus on our core business and emerge from this period as a stronger company.
