What is the SBDC?
The Galveston County Small Business Development Center (GC SBDC) provides free business consulting and affordable training seminars to small and medium-sized business owners and managers. The GC SBDC is a business consulting and training center of the UH SBDC Network, which serves 32 counties in Southeast Texas through 15 business consulting and training centers.

The GC SBDC also offers specialty assistance for entrepreneurs wanting to sell to the government, do business internationally, or commercialize their technology.
