Garbage smells terrible!

I think we can all agree that garbage smells terrible. But why?

Garbage is made up of all sorts of different materials, including food waste, paper, plastic, and metal. When these materials decompose, they release gases that can smell bad. Some of these gases are harmful to our health, so it's important to keep garbage out of our homes and workplaces.

There are a few things you can do to reduce the smell of garbage:
  • Take out the garbage regularly. The longer garbage sits, the more time it has to decompose and release gases.
  • Keep garbage cans covered. This will help to trap the gases inside the can and prevent them from spreading into the air.
  • Use a deodorizer in your garbage can. There are a variety of different deodorizers available, so you can choose one that works best for you.
  • Clean your garbage can regularly. This will help to remove any bacteria or mold that could be causing the smell.
If you have a particularly smelly garbage can, you may need to take some extra steps to clean it.

First, remove all of the garbage from the can. Then, wash the can with a strong bleach solution. Be sure to rinse the can thoroughly after washing it. Finally, dry the can completely before putting it back in place.

By following these tips, you can help to reduce the smell of garbage in your home or workplace.

Remember, garbage smells terrible. So, don't let it linger!
