Geelong vs Richmond

Richmond has managed to win a nail-biting game against the Geelong Cats on Friday night at the MCG.

The first quarter of the game set the pace for the rest of the game with both teams neck and neck by the end of it. The second quarter, however, saw Geelong begin to take the lead, and they went into half time with a 12-point lead.

Richmond came out fighting in the third quarter and managed to level the scores and go into the final quarter with another two points. Both teams continued to fight it out in the final quarter with neither team able to really pull ahead. Ultimately, though, it was Richmond who would snatch victory in the dying minutes of the game with a goal by Tom Lynch.

The final score was Richmond 59 to Geelong 60.
