Good Friday Appeal 2

Good Friday Appeal 2024

The Good Friday Appeal is an annual fundraising event held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The appeal raises money for the Royal Children's Hospital, one of the few hospitals in Australia that provide free treatment to all children, regardless of their ability to pay.
The Good Friday Appeal was first held in 1931, and has since raised over $1 billion for the Royal Children's Hospital. The appeal is supported by a wide range of businesses, community groups, and individuals.
Each year, the Good Friday Appeal is launched with a special telecast on the Nine Network. The telecast features stories from patients and families who have been helped by the Royal Children's Hospital, as well as performances from some of Australia's biggest stars.
On Good Friday, volunteers collect donations from the public at street stalls and shopping centers.
The Good Friday Appeal is a truly special event that brings the community together to support a great cause. The money raised by the appeal helps to provide world-class care to sick and injured children. Together we can make a difference and give sick children the chance to live a healthy and happy life.
