Google Maps

I am sure by now, we all know of Google Maps, it's a mapping service developed by Google that offers a variety of features. I mean, who doesn't love Google Maps, am I right? But did you also know that Google Maps has a ton of hidden features that you may not be aware of? They're all really cool and can be really useful.

One of my favorite hidden features is the ability to measure the distance between two points. This is great for planning a road trip, taking a walk, or driving to a friend's house. It has been a lifesaver for me on more than one occasion when I got lost in the middle of the big city I moved to for college.

Another great hidden feature is the ability to create custom maps. This is perfect for planning a trip or sharing directions with friends and family. I use this one when I want to map out my runs with my dog so I can plan it in a way we don't get lost, or to map out long walks to get to and back from work.

And if you're ever feeling adventurous, you can use Google Maps to explore the world. You can zoom in on any location and see street-level views of the area. This is a great way to get a feel for a place before you visit it in person. I use this one more than I'd like to admit when I'm planning out vacations.

These are just a few of the many hidden features that Google Maps has to offer. Explore the app and see what else you can find. You might be surprised at what you discover.

Pro tip: If you're ever lost, just open up Google Maps and type in your destination. The app will give you turn-by-turn directions.

Fun fact: Google Maps has been used to map over 200 countries and territories.
