A personal story about gratitude
I was going through a really tough time a few years ago. I had lost my job, my relationship had ended, and I was feeling very lost and alone. One day, I was walking home from work and I saw a homeless man sitting on the side of the road. He was dirty and ragged, and he looked very sad.
I stopped and talked to him for a while. He told me his story, and I was amazed by his strength and resilience. Despite everything he had been through, he was still grateful for the little things in life. He was grateful for the food that he had to eat, the clothes that he had to wear, and the roof over his head.
