There is always a special buzz when Graziano Di Prima takes to the Strictly Come Dancing stage. The Italian dancer has been a firm favorite with viewers since joining the show in 2018, and his passionate performances and infectious energy have made him one of the most popular pros.

But behind the sequins and smiles, Graziano is a man with a deep and inspiring story. Born in Sicily, he grew up in a poor family and had to overcome many challenges to pursue his dream of becoming a dancer. In this exclusive interview, Graziano opens up about his childhood, his journey to Strictly, and what it means to him to be a role model for others.

“I was born in a small village in Sicily, and my family was very poor,” Graziano says. “We lived in a small house with no running water or electricity. But I was always happy. My parents were loving and supportive, and they encouraged me to follow my dreams.”

Graziano started dancing at the age of 10, and he quickly realized that he had a natural talent. He won several local competitions, and at the age of 16, he was offered a place at the prestigious Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome.

“It was a dream come true,” Graziano says. “I worked hard and trained for hours every day. I knew that I had to make the most of this opportunity.”

After graduating from the Accademia, Graziano went on to dance with some of the world’s leading ballet companies, including the Royal Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre. He also appeared in several films and television shows.

In 2018, Graziano joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing. He quickly became a fan favorite, and he has since won the show twice, with celebrity partners Stacey Dooley and Oti Mabuse.

“Strictly has been an amazing experience,” Graziano says. “I have met so many wonderful people, and I have learned so much about myself. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my love of dance with the world.”

Graziano is a role model for many young people, and he is passionate about using his platform to make a positive difference in the world. He is a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion, and he has spoken out against bullying and discrimination.

“I want to show people that anything is possible,” Graziano says. “No matter where you come from or what challenges you face, you can achieve your dreams if you never give up on them.”
