Gwanda Mahlinsky's Adventure: The Bunny and the carrot
Once upon a time, Gwanda Mahlinsky was a little girl who loved carrots. She would eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One day, Gwanda was playing in the forest when she saw a bunny. The bunny was very cute, with big floppy ears and a fluffy white tail. Gwanda wanted to pet the bunny, but she was afraid it would run away.
"Don't be afraid," said the bunny. "My name is Hopper, and I love carrots too."
Gwanda was so happy to meet Hopper! She reached out and petted him gently. Hopper purred and closed his eyes.
"Would you like to come home with me?" asked Gwanda. "I have lots of carrots."
Hopper nodded his head. "I would love to," he said.
Gwanda and Hopper walked home together, hand in paw. When they got to Gwanda's house, her parents were very surprised to see her with a bunny.
"Where did you find him?" asked her mother.
"I found him in the forest," said Gwanda. "His name is Hopper, and he loves carrots."
Gwanda's parents were happy to let Hopper stay. They gave him a carrot to eat, and he immediately felt at home.
Hopper and Gwanda became best friends. They played together every day, and they always shared their carrots.
One day, Gwanda and Hopper were playing in the forest when they saw a big, mean wolf. The wolf was hungry, and he wanted to eat Hopper.
Gwanda stood in front of Hopper and shouted, "Leave him alone!"
The wolf growled at Gwanda, but she didn't move. She stood her ground and protected her friend.
The wolf finally gave up and walked away. Gwanda was so proud of herself for saving Hopper.
Gwanda and Hopper continued to play together for many years. They were always happy together, and they always shared their carrots.
