Hazel Irvine has an impressive resume. She's a former international-level gymnast. She's worked as a television presenter for the BBC. She's even written a book on her experiences with anorexia. But despite all of these achievements, Hazel Irvine still considers herself an ordinary person.
“I think we all have the potential to be extraordinary,” says Hazel. “But it takes courage and determination to actually achieve it.”
Hazel knows a thing or two about courage and determination. She was just 14 years old when she was first diagnosed with anorexia. The illness nearly took her life, but she eventually recovered and went on to achieve great things.
“I learned a lot about myself during that time,” says Hazel. “I learned that I’m stronger than I thought I was. I also learned that there are people who care about me and want to help me.”
Hazel’s story is an inspiration to others who are struggling with anorexia. She shows that it is possible to recover from this illness and go on to live a full and happy life.
“I want to help others to see their own potential,” says Hazel. “I want them to know that they’re not alone and that there is hope.”
Hazel is now a successful television presenter, writer, and motivational speaker. She uses her platform to inspire others to overcome their challenges and achieve their dreams.
“I want to make a difference in the world,” says Hazel. “I want to help others to see that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.”
