Hit Man

My adventure started when I was walking to the tram station like I usually do.
I was on my way to work and my mind was a million miles away, thinking about all the things I had to do that day.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even notice the man who was following me.
He was wearing a dark coat and a hat, and he kept his head down so I couldn't see his face.
I started to get a little nervous, but I tried to ignore him and keep walking.
As I got closer to the tram station, the man started to walk faster.
He was almost running now, and I knew that I had to do something.
I started to run too, and I looked over my shoulder to see if he was still following me.
He was, and he was gaining on me.
I was terrified.
I didn't know what to do.
I didn't want to get hurt, but I didn't know how to escape.
I ran as fast as I could, but it wasn't enough.
The man caught up to me and grabbed me by the arm.
He pulled me into a dark alleyway, and I knew that this was it.
I was going to die.
The man pulled out a knife, and I closed my eyes and waited for the end.
But then, I heard a noise.
It was a gunshot, and the man who was holding me fell to the ground.
I opened my eyes and saw a police officer standing over the man's body.
The police officer told me that the man was a dangerous criminal who had been wanted for murder.
He said that I was lucky to be alive.
I was so shaken up that I could barely stand.
The police officer called an ambulance, and I was taken to the hospital.
I was treated for shock, and I was released a few hours later.
I'm still not sure what happened that day.
I don't know who the man was or why he was following me.
But I'm grateful to the police officer who saved my life.
I'm also grateful for the second chance that I've been given.
I'm going to make the most of my life, and I'm going to live every day to the fullest.
I'm not sure what the future holds, but I'm excited to find out.
I know that there are good people in the world, and I know that I'm not alone.
