Holy Wednesday

For many people, the days leading up to Easter are a time for reflection, preparation, and spiritual growth.

Holy Wednesday is the fourth day of Holy Week, which begins on Palm Sunday. It is the day when Christians remember the events leading up to Jesus' crucifixion. On this day, Christians typically attend church services to hear the story of Jesus' betrayal by Judas Iscariot and his subsequent arrest. They also reflect on the meaning of Jesus' sacrifice and the importance of forgiveness.

Holy Wednesday is a day to reflect on our own lives and make changes that will bring us closer to God. It is a day to forgive others and to ask for forgiveness for our own sins.

The events of Holy Wednesday:
  • Jesus and his disciples arrive in Jerusalem for the Passover feast.
  • Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus' disciples, agrees to betray him for 30 pieces of silver.
