Hurricane Beryl on Track to Hit the Carolinas!!!

Hey everyone,
I know hurricane season is a stressful time, so I wanted to take a moment to share some information about Hurricane Beryl and its potential impact on the Carolinas.
As of this morning, Beryl is a Category 1 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph. It is moving northwest at 12 mph and is expected to make landfall in eastern North Carolina on Thursday night or Friday morning.
The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane warning for the coast of North Carolina from Cape Lookout to the Virginia border. This means that hurricane conditions are expected in these areas within the next 36 hours.
Residents in the affected areas should take precautions now, including:
  • Securing loose objects outside
  • Filling up your gas tank
  • Having an emergency plan in place
  • Listening to local news and weather reports
It's important to remember that hurricanes are unpredictable, so it's best to be prepared. If you are in the path of the storm, please take the necessary precautions to stay safe.
I will continue to monitor the storm and will post updates as they become available. Stay tuned for more information.
Be safe,
