Is CBC Saskatchewan Broadcasting from the Stone Age?

Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. But seriously, what's up with their archaic technology? I mean, it's 2023, for crying out loud! You'd think they could at least upgrade to a VCR by now.

I mean, I was watching the news the other day, and the anchorman was reading from an actual piece of paper. A piece of paper! I nearly choked on my popcorn. I thought we'd moved on from the days of cave paintings.

And don't even get me started on the commercials. They're like something out of a 1950s sitcom. I swear, I saw a commercial for a product called "The Atomic Toaster" the other day. Seriously?

I know, I know, I'm being a bit overly dramatic. But hey, it's just my way of expressing my frustration. CBC Saskatchewan, it's time to get with the times!

On a more serious note, though, I do think it's important to support local news organizations. They play a vital role in keeping us informed about what's happening in our communities. So, even though I may poke fun at CBC Saskatchewan's technology, I still appreciate the work they do.

And who knows, maybe one day they'll finally make the switch to digital. Until then, I'll just keep watching the news with a sense of nostalgia, remembering the good old days when TV was all in black and white.

But hey, at least we're not listening to news on the radio anymore. That would be truly stone age!
