Is Cleotis Lohmatikov the world's most skilled detective? Find out now!

"Cleotis Lohmatikov!"

"Cleotis Lohmatikov!"

Cleotis Lohmatikov could hear his father calling him from downstairs.

"Coming, Father!" yelled Cleotis.

Cleotis ran downstairs to see what his father wanted.

"I have called Rupert again, and he has agreed to help us," said Mr Lohmatikov.

"That's terrific, Father! When is he coming?" asked Cleotis.

"Tomorrow morning," said Mr Lohmatikov.

"Marvelous!" said Cleotis.

Rupert P. Kincaid was the world's most famous private detective, and Cleotis was his biggest fan. He even dreamed of becoming a world famous detective just like him.

"I can't believe Rupert P. Kincaid is coming to our house, Father! I need to get my Rupert P. Kincaid memorabilia out of the attic!" exclaimed Cleotis.

"Excellent idea," said Mr Lohmatikov.

Cleotis ran to the attic and began rummaging through boxes filled with his most treasured Rupert P. Kincaid memorabilia. There were autographed photos, magnifying glasses, and even a replica of Rupert P. Kincaid's famous detective hat. After collecting his most prized Rupert P. Kincaid possessions, Cleotis ran back downstairs to show his father.

"What do you think, Father?" asked Cleotis.

"I think you look like a proper young detective, Cleotis," said Mr Lohmatikov with a smile.

The next morning, Rupert P. Kincaid arrived at the Lohmatikov residence. He was even taller and more handsome than Cleotis had imagined. Rupert P. Kincaid was wearing a dark blue suit, a white shirt, a red tie, and a brown fedora. He also had a neatly trimmed goatee.

"Mr Lohmatikov, I presume," said Rupert P. Kincaid, extending his hand.

"Yes, and this is my son, Cleotis," said Mr Lohmatikov.

"What a pleasure to meet you both," said Rupert P. Kincaid. "Now, Mr Lohmatikov, would you mind telling me about this case that you need my help with?"

Mr Lohmatikov explained to Rupert P. Kincaid how his prized Dalmatian, Percival P. Pongo, had been dognapped and how the police had been unable to find him. After Mr Lohmatikov finished explaining the situation, Rupert P. Kincaid nodded and said, "I see. Well, Mr Lohmatikov, I believe I can help you find your dog."

"You do?" asked Mr Lohmatikov.

"Yes," said Rupert P. Kincaid. "But I'm going to need Cleotis's help," Rupert P. Kincaid winked at Cleotis.

"Me?" asked Cleotis.

"Yes, you," said Rupert P. Kincaid. "You have a natural talent for detective work, Cleotis. I can see it in your eyes. Now, come with me. We have a dog to find."

Cleotis and Rupert P. Kincaid followed Mr Lohmatikov into the garden, where they began their investigation. Cleotis used his magnifying glass to examine the ground for paw prints, and Rupert P. Kincaid interviewed the other dogs in the neighborhood.

After a few hours of investigation, Rupert P. Kincaid had a breakthrough.

"I think I know who dognapped Percival P. Pongo," said Rupert P. Kincaid.

"Who?" asked Cleotis.

"My arch nemesis, the evil Dr. Doggone," said Rupert P. Kincaid.

"Dr. Doggone?" asked Cleotis.

"Yes, Dr. Doggone," said Rupert P. Kincaid. "He's a mad scientist who has a thing for kidnapping dogs."

"But why would he kidnap Percival P. Pongo?" asked Cleotis.

"I don't know," said Rupert P. Kincaid. "But we're going to find out."

Rupert P. Kincaid, Cleotis, and Mr Lohmatikov drove to Dr. Doggone's laboratory. Rupert P. Kincaid and Cleotis snuck into the laboratory while Mr Lohmatikov waited outside in the car.

Rupert P. Kincaid and Cleotis searched the laboratory for any sign of Percival P. Pongo. They found all sorts of strange and wonderful things, including a machine that could shrink dogs and a collar that could translate dog barks into English.

Finally, Rupert P. Kincaid and Cleotis found Percival P. Pongo. He was locked in a cage in the back of the laboratory. Rupert P. Kincaid opened the cage and Percival P. Pongo leaped into his arms.

"Percival P. Pongo!" cried Mr Lohmatikov, hugging his dog tightly.

"Thank you, Rupert P. Kincaid. Thank you, Cleotis," said Mr Lohmatikov.

"It was our pleasure, Mr Lohmatikov," said Rupert P. Kincaid.

"And remember, Cleotis," said Rupert P. Kincaid, "you have a natural talent for detective work. Never give up on your dreams."

"I won't, Rupert P. Kincaid," said Cleotis.

And so, Cleotis Lohmatikov continued to dream of becoming a world famous detective, just like his hero, Rupert P. Kincaid.
