Is Elton John Really Retiring?

By Elton John

I've been in the music business for over 50 years, and I've seen a lot of changes. The way we record music has changed, the way we listen to music has changed, and even the way we make money from music has changed. But one thing that hasn't changed is my love for playing music.

That's why I'm so excited to announce my new album, "The Lockdown Sessions." It's a collection of songs that I recorded during the pandemic, with some of my favorite artists. I had so much fun making this album, and I can't wait for you to hear it.

Of course, I know that some of you might be wondering if this is my last album. After all, I'm getting older, and I've been talking about retiring for a few years now. But I want to assure you that I'm not going anywhere. I still love playing music, and I still have a lot of stories to tell.

That said, I do plan to slow down a bit. I'm not going to be touring as much as I used to, and I'm going to be spending more time with my family. But I'm not giving up on music. I'll still be writing songs, and I'll still be performing occasionally.

So, to all my fans, I want to say thank you for your love and support over the years. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have shared my music with you, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy "The Lockdown Sessions." It's a special album for me, and I think you'll love it.
