Rec Room to launch a new multiplayer off-road racing game



 

Rec Room, the virtual reality online social platform, is bringing its newest original game Rec Rally. The game is soon going to make its debut on every gaming platform, including mobile. Set to launch on September 29, Rec Rally is a multiplayer off-road racing game and will support cross-platform play During the Rec Con 2021, the annual  is rec room crossplay  conference of Rec Room, on last Saturday, a trailer has been launched where Rec Room revealed the gameplay as well. Rec Rally: What we know so far
The game is going to be the first-ever game by Rec Room with an incredibly immersive driving capability. The vast community of over 25 million users can enjoy Rec Rally after its launch. As the developers claimed, there are endless possibilities for fun with this new capability. Users can go on a road trip with friends and can boost, bump, and powerslide their vehicles to cross the finish line.

The trailer shows that the vehicles will support multiple passengers, customization, and more. To spice things a bit, dual-wielding objects can be performed while driving. So, players can grab a paintball gun and hop in the driver’s seat for some vehicle-on-vehicle combat.

A cross-platform system will be available
The vehicles in Rec Rally are fully optimized in controls for both touch screen and VR devices. So, players won’t feel any shortage of fun while playing. Rec Rally will be available to all users on Android, iOS, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/One, PC via Steam, Oculus Quest, and accessible via all VR headsets. Developers also going to incorporate the ‘Rally buggy’ for players to add unique driving experiences to their rooms.

Rec Room is one of the leading industries to build the metaverse. Fans were hoping to enjoy a racing mode in Rec Room for many days. As the wants are fulfilled now, players can finally start their engines from September 29.
