It Was All Magie Hattenbauer's Fault!

I still can't believe it was all Magie Hattenbauer's fault. If it hadn't been for her, I would never
have met the love of my life, and I might never have graduated from college. And I definitely
wouldn't have the job I have now. So, in a way, I owe her everything.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning. I met Magie Hattenbauer in
freshman year of college. We were both in the same dorm, and we quickly became friends. She was
always the life of the party, and she always had a smile on her face. I thought she was great, and I
was really happy to have met her.
One night, Magie and I were hanging out in her dorm room, and she started talking about this guy
she had met in her English class. She said he was really cute, and she was really interested in
him. I told her I thought she should go for it.
The next day, Magie told me she had asked the guy out, and he had said yes! She was so excited,
and I was happy for her. But then, a few days later, Magie came to me with a problem. She said she
had asked the guy out on a date, but he had stood her up. She was really upset, and I didn't know
what to say.
I tried to cheer her up, but she was still really down. She said she didn't understand why he had
stood her up, and she didn't know what to do. I told her I thought she should forget about him and
move on.

that she started crying.
I felt so sorry for Magie. She had been through a lot, and she didn't deserve to be treated
that way. I told her she was better off without him, and she agreed. Magie and I went out for
ice cream, and we talked about everything that had happened. We both agreed that we were better
off without him, and we both vowed to never let anyone treat us that way again.
A few weeks later, Magie met someone else. His name was John, and he was really nice. Magie
and John started dating, and they quickly fell in love. They got married a few years later, and they
now have two beautiful children.

needed me.
