Jackson Makoi

Jackson Makoi is an Australian professional basketball player who plays for the Cairns Taipans of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). He was born in Egypt to South Sudanese parents and represents the South Sudan national basketball team.
Makoi began his basketball career with the NSW Waratahs in the NBL1 before moving to the Cairns Taipans in 2020. He has since become a key player for the Taipans, averaging 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in the 2023 season.
