Jamie Lee Curtis




Jamie Lee Curtis is an American actress, author, and activist. She is the daughter of actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. Curtis made her film debut in the 1978 horror film Halloween, in which she played the role of Laurie Strode. She has since starred in over 40 films, including Trading Places (1983), A Fish Called Wanda (1988), True Lies (1994), and Freaky Friday (2003).

Curtis has also written several children's books, including Today I Feel Silly: And Other Moods That Make My Day (1998) and It's Hard to Be Five: Learning and Growing Up the Hard Way (2004). In 2008, she co-founded the Children's Hospital Los Angeles with her husband, Christopher Guest.
