It was a dark and stormy night. The rain was pouring down, and the wind was howling. Jerahmy Selles was tucked snugly in his bed, trying to get some sleep. But he couldn't sleep. He was too excited. Earlier that day, he had been given a very special gift: a magic wishing book.
Jerahmy had never had a magic wishing book before. He didn't even know they existed. But his grandmother had told him that they were real, and that if he made a wish, it would come true.
Jerahmy couldn't wait to try out his new book. He opened it up and started to write. He wished for all the candy in the world, for a new bike, and for a pet dinosaur.
Then, he closed the book and put it under his pillow. He closed his eyes and went to sleep.
The next morning, Jerahmy woke up and ran to the window. He looked outside and saw that his wish had come true! There was candy everywhere. There was a new bike in the driveway. And there was a baby dinosaur in the backyard.
Jerahmy couldn't believe his eyes. He ran downstairs and hugged his grandmother.
"Thank you, Grandma!" he said. "This is the best day ever!"
Jerahmy's grandmother smiled.
"I'm glad you're happy, Jerahmy," she said. "But remember, with great power comes great responsibility. Use your wishes wisely."
Jerahmy nodded.
"I will, Grandma," he said.
And so, Jerahmy Selles began his adventure with his magic wishing book. He used his wishes to help others, to make the world a better place, and to have a lot of fun along the way.
The end.
