Jody Gormley

I have always admired Jody Gormley, and not just because he was a talented footballer. He is a man of character and integrity, and I was deeply saddened to hear about his diagnosis of terminal cancer.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jody on a few occasions, and I was always struck by his warmth and kindness. He is a true gentleman, and I know he will face this challenge with the same courage and determination that he showed on the football field.

Jody has always been a role model for me, and I know he will continue to be an inspiration to others as he fights this disease.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jody and his family at this difficult time.

  • Jody Gormley is a former Tyrone footballer who won an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 2003.
  • He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2023.
  • Jody is a role model for many people, and his courage and determination are an inspiration to us all.
