Jordan Poyer





Jordan Poyer is an American football safety for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Early life and college career

Poyer was born in Astoria, Oregon, and attended Astoria High School. He played college football at Oregon State University, where he was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-Pac-12 selection.

Professional career

Poyer was drafted by the Browns in the seventh round (218th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played in 11 games as a rookie, recording 12 tackles. In 2014, he started 12 games and recorded 70 tackles, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles.

Buffalo Bills

Poyer signed a four-year, $13 million contract with the Bills in 2017. He has since become one of the best safeties in the NFL, earning three Pro Bowl selections and one All-Pro selection.
