Once upon a time, there was a boy named Juanye Dosantos who was very scared of the dark. He would always make his parents leave the light on in his room at night, and he would often sleep with his teddy bear.
One night, Juanye's parents were out of town, and he had to stay home with his older sister, Maria. Maria was not scared of the dark, and she thought it was silly that Juanye was.
"Juanye, you're such a baby," Maria said. "There's nothing to be afraid of in the dark."
But Juanye didn't believe her. He knew that there were monsters in the dark, just waiting to get him.
That night, Juanye couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about the monsters that might be hiding in his closet or under his bed. He was so scared that he started to cry.
Maria heard Juanye crying and came to his room. She saw that he was scared, and she put her arm around him.
"It's okay, Juanye," Maria said. "I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you."
Juanye felt a little better with Maria there, but he was still scared. He closed his eyes and tried to go to sleep, but he couldn't stop thinking about the monsters.
Suddenly, Juanye heard a noise. It was a creaking sound, like someone was walking down the hallway.
Juanye's heart started to race. He knew that someone was coming, and he was sure that it was a monster.
The creaking sound got closer and closer. Juanye pulled the covers up over his head and squeezed his eyes shut. He was so scared that he couldn't even breathe.
The creaking sound stopped right outside Juanye's door. Juanye could hear the doorknob turning, and he knew that the monster was about to come in.
But then, the door opened, and Juanye heard a familiar voice.
"Juanye, it's just me," Maria said. "I came to check on you."
Juanye opened his eyes and saw that it was really Maria. He was so relieved that he started to cry.
"I'm so scared, Maria," Juanye said. "I thought there was a monster in the hallway."
"There's no monster, Juanye," Maria said. "It was just me. You're safe now."
Maria sat down next to Juanye and held him close. She told him that there was nothing to be afraid of, and that he was safe with her.
Juanye believed Maria, and he started to feel better. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, with Maria still holding him close.
The next morning, Juanye woke up feeling much better. He was no longer scared of the dark, and he knew that Maria would always be there to protect him.
From that day on, Juanye Dosantos was no longer afraid of the dark. He knew that he was safe with Maria, and he knew that there was nothing to be afraid of in the dark.
