It's a five-week project which is a bit like the Alpha Course, "Discovering Christianity", or Belmont's "Christianity" courses. We're going to do it over three Sunday nights before Easter (March 12, 19, 26) and two Sundays after (April 23, 30).
Well, you are. If you're up for it. The leaders will do as little as possible (apart from serving the food and clearing up afterwards). And your friends could be the people who come.... if you ask them nicely. We guarantee three important things to everybody: no boredom, no pressure, and no embarrassment. In other words, (a) they'll enjoy every minute, (b) they will never feel we're backing them into a corner and preaching at them, and (c) they won't feel awkward about soppy hymns or public prayers or cringey questions, because there won't be any.
Each week there are the same four parts to it (apart from the food and fun bit first). That makes it easy to remember what happens next. Click on each of these to see what's involved, and how you could be leading it:
Well, that's up to you. We have a lot of creativity in such a small group, and you might have ideas about things you'd like to do which aren't listed here. Click here for a few ideas... and get back to us (e.g. via Facebook, or on Sunday evening) to make any suggestions you have...
Oh, and given that it's the most exciting project Off The Wall has ever tackled in about thirty years you might just want to pray about it too. So read the information first (so that you know what you're praying about, dummy) then go here for some prayer ideas.
