Katarina Johnson-Thompson




Katarina Johnson-Thompson is a British athlete who competes in heptathlon and pentathlon. She is the 2019 world champion in heptathlon and the 2018 world indoor champion in pentathlon. She has also won two silver medals at the European Championships in heptathlon (2014 and 2018) and one silver medal at the European Indoor Championships in pentathlon (2015).

Johnson-Thompson was born in Liverpool, England, on January 9, 1993. She began competing in track and field at a young age and quickly showed promise in the heptathlon. She won the gold medal at the 2011 European Junior Championships and the silver medal at the 2012 World Junior Championships.
