Kazakhstan plane crash

On Sunday, July 23, 2023, Bek Air Flight Z9218, a Fokker 100 aircraft, crashed shortly after takeoff from Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan.

The plane was carrying 98 passengers and five crew members. There were no survivors.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but it is believed that the plane may have hit a flock of birds, causing the engines to fail. The plane then crashed into a building, killing everyone on board.

This is the deadliest plane crash in Kazakhstan's history.
