KCSE 2024 results: candidates and parents urged to be patient

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has urged candidates and their parents to be patient as they await the release of the 2024 KCSE results.
KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njeng'ere said that the results will be released on time, but did not give a specific date. He said that the council is working hard to ensure that the results are accurate and reliable.
"We understand that candidates and their parents are eager to get the results, but we urge them to be patient," Njeng'ere said. "We are working hard to ensure that the results are accurate and reliable, and we will release them as soon as they are ready."
The 2024 KCSE examination was administered from November 28 to December 1, 2024. A total of 831,015 candidates sat for the examination.
The results will be released online and through SMS. Candidates can access their results online using their KCSE index number and the year they sat for the examination.
