Kindiki family




The Kindiki family is a family of five professors and siblings who have a passion for education. The family is from Tharaka Nithi County in Kenya. The father of the family, Prof. Jonah Nyaga Kindiki, is a retired professor of education from Kenyatta University. The mother of the family, Dr. Ruth Kindiki, is a retired teacher from Tharaka University. The Kindiki family has five children, all of whom are professors. The eldest son, Prof. Isaiah Iguna Kindiki, is a professor of law at the University of Nairobi. The second son, Prof. Moses Mpuria Kindiki, is a professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The third son, Prof. Jonah Nyaga Kindiki, is a professor of economics at the University of Dar es Salaam. The fourth son, Prof. Stephen Kithinji Kindiki, is a professor of history at the University of Oxford. The youngest daughter, Dr. Joyce Gatiiria Njagi, is a medical doctor and a lecturer at the University of Nairobi.
