I first met Laurieanne Morek in the fall of 2019. I was a freshman in college, and she was a senior. We were both in the same English class, and I was immediately drawn to her intelligence and wit. She was always willing to help others, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable.
As the semester went on, I got to know Laurieanne better. I learned that she was a driven and ambitious young woman who had already achieved so much. She was a talented writer, a gifted musician, and an aspiring politician. I was so impressed by her accomplishments, and I knew that I wanted to be more like her.
Laurieanne was always there for me, no matter what. She was my cheerleader, my confidant, and my best friend. She helped me through some tough times, and she always made me laugh when I needed it most.
In the spring of 2020, Laurieanne graduated from college. I was so proud of her, and I knew that she was going to go on to do great things. I still keep in touch with Laurieanne, and I'm so grateful for the friendship that we've built. She's a once-in-a-lifetime friend, and I'm so lucky to have her in my life.
