LAUTECH

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is a public university in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. It was established in 1990 and named after the late Chief Ladoke Akintola, the first premier of Western Region of Nigeria. LAUTECH is one of the leading universities in Nigeria and is known for its academic excellence and research.

The establishment of LAUTECH was conceived in the late 1980s when the Oyo and Osun State Governments decided to establish a joint university. The university was established in 1990 and academic activities commenced in 1991. The university has since grown rapidly and now has over 30,000 students and over 1,000 academic staff.

LAUTECH offers a wide range of academic programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The university has seven faculties, which include:
