Leitrim GAA: A Proud History and Bright Future

Leitrim GAA is a proud and passionate organization, with a rich history and a bright future. Founded in 1887, the Leitrim County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is responsible for the promotion and development of Gaelic games in County Leitrim, Ireland.
Our county teams have enjoyed great success over the years, winning numerous provincial and All-Ireland titles. Our most famous victory came in 1994 when the Leitrim senior Gaelic football team won the Connacht Senior Football Championship for the first and only time.
Leitrim is also home to a number of successful club teams. In recent years, our clubs have enjoyed success at both provincial and national level. For example, St. Mary's Kiltoghert won the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship in 2018.
Off the field, Leitrim GAA is committed to providing our players and members with the best possible facilities and support. We have a number of excellent playing fields and training facilities throughout the county. We also have a strong coaching and development program in place, which is helping to produce the next generation of Leitrim GAA stars.
