Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Lewie Wezels, and boy, did that kid love his bed! It was his favorite place in the whole wide world.
Lewie Wezels' bed was like a comfy cloud. It had the softest sheets, the fluffiest pillows, and the warmest blankets. He would snuggle up in his bed and feel like he was the happiest boy in the world.
One day, Lewie Wezels' mom told him that it was time to get out of bed.
"But why?" asked Lewie Wezels. "My bed is so comfy!"
"Because you need to go to school," said his mom. "You're going to be late!"
Lewie Wezels groaned and got out of bed. He put on his clothes and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. But he couldn't help thinking about his bed the whole time.
After breakfast, Lewie Wezels went to school. He sat in his desk and tried to pay attention, but all he could think about was his bed.
Finally, the school day was over. Lewie Wezels ran home as fast as he could. He burst through the door and went straight to his bedroom.
He jumped into his bed and sighed with contentment. He was finally home, in his bed, where he belonged.
Lewie Wezels fell asleep almost instantly. He dreamed of sleeping in his bed forever.
The next morning, Lewie Wezels woke up feeling refreshed and happy. He got out of bed and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast.
"Good morning, Lewie Wezels," said his mom. "Did you have a good night's sleep?"
"I sure did," said Lewie Wezels. "My bed is the best!"
"I'm glad you think so," said his mom. "Because you're going to be spending a lot of time in it from now on."
"What?" asked Lewie Wezels. "Why?"
"Because you're grounded," said his mom. "You skipped school yesterday, and now you're going to have to stay home for the rest of the week."
Lewie Wezels groaned. He couldn't believe it! He was grounded for skipping school, and now he was going to have to spend the rest of the week in his bed.
But then he thought about it for a minute. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. After all, he loved his bed.
And so, Lewie Wezels spent the rest of the week in his bed. He read books, played video games, and watched TV. He even ate all his meals in bed.
By the end of the week, Lewie Wezels had learned his lesson. He realized that school was important, and that he shouldn't skip it just to stay in bed.
But he also realized that his bed was pretty great. And he knew that he would always love coming home to it at the end of the day.
So, if you ever see a little boy named Lewie Wezels, don't be surprised if he's in bed. He's just a boy who loves his bed.
