Super Bowl History
The first Super Bowl was played in January of 1967, when the Green Bay Packers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 35-10. Since then, the game has grown into one of the most beloved American traditions, and a bucket list event for many sports fans.
Only one team has managed to win six Super Bowls, with that honor going to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have won six of their eight appearances in the big game. The New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers are all just behind the Steelers with five titles, while the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants have four Super Bowls each.
Most Memorable Super Bowls
When it comes to memorable Super Bowls, there aren't many more memorable than the clash between the New York Giants and New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. The Patriots came into that game with an 18-0 record on the season, led by a record-setting offense with Tom Brady at quarterback and the legendary Randy Moss breaking records at wide receiver. New England entered that game as a double digit favorite, but the Giants did not follow the script.
Led by a ferocious pass rush headed by Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, the Giants defensive line pressured Brady time and time again, with the Giants pulling one of the greatest upsets in NFL history. On a late Eli Manning touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress, the Giants won the Super Bowl while ruining the Patriots' perfect season.
Other memorable Super Bowls include the Patriots' massive comeback and overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51, the only overtime game in Super Bowl history, as well as New England's last minute goal line interception by Malcolm Butler to seal the championship against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49.

The top party of the American Football League (NFL), Super Bowl LV, will bring together the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed themselves to be finalists after defeating the Green Bay Packers 31-26 representing the NFC Championship division.

The Buccaneers' qualification went down in NFL history. They became the first team in league history to compete in the Super Bowl as hosts.
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay, which is also home to the Buccaneers will be the venue for the LV Super Bowl match.
Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs became two of the former Super Bowl champions.

The Buccaneers will be looking to claim their second title, following the Super Bowl XXXVII win at the end of the 2002 season.
The Chiefs will try to become the first team since the New England Patriots 2003-04 to win two consecutive Super Bowls.
Super Bowl LV will also be a rematch of the Buccaneers vs Chiefs game in Week 12 of the league. The match was won by Kansas City, 27-24 at Raymond James Stadium.
The Super Bowl LV match will be held on Sunday (7/2/2021) or Monday morning WIB.

Super Bowl Details
Super Bowl 55
Super Bowl 55 is the culmination of the 2020 NFL season, with the game taking place on February 7, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game will pit the winners of the AFC Championship and NFC Championship games against each other, in a contest that will determine the NFL's champion for that season. The Super Bowl is always played on the first Sunday in February, and has become something of a national holiday, as it is the most watched television program every year in America, with commercial airtime going for millions of dollars for each 30-second block.

The 55th annual instalment of the National Football League's championship game will be played on Sunday.
The Super Bowl pits the winners of the two conferences in the NFL - the AFC and the NFC - against each other, in a winner-takes-all showdown.
For Sunday's climax to the 2020 NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (winners of the NFC) will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs (winners of the AFC). Kick-off is at 11.30pm UK time, with 90 minutes of build-up live on Sky Sports NFL from 10pm.

Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. It will be the first time in NFL history that a Super Bowl finalist will be playing the game in their home stadium.
That said, the stadium will be filled to only a third of its usual capacity (65,618), due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, with 22,000 fans set to be in attendance.
Nearly 7,500 of those fans will be vaccinated health care workers as guests of the NFL to thank and honour them for their continued service during the pandemic.

Raymond James Stadium has hosted two Super Bowls before, with the Baltimore Ravens running out 34-7 winners over New York Giants in 2001, and the Pittsburgh Steelers famously defeating the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 in 2009 courtesy of a touchdown scored by Santonio Holmes in the final minute of the game.
