Logan Martin
Logan Martin is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Miami Marlins. Martin was drafted by the Diamondbacks in the third round of the 2011 MLB draft and made his MLB debut with them in 2016.
Martin is a two-time All-Star, having been selected to the team in 2019 and 2021. He was also named the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year in 2016. In 2019, Martin finished with a 3.18 ERA, 225 strikeouts, and a 14-9 record. He finished the 2021 season with a 3.46 ERA, 200 strikeouts, and a 16-8 record.
Martin is known for his ability to pitch effectively in high-leverage situations. He has been one of the most consistent pitchers in the NL over the past several seasons.
Martin is a native of San Diego, California. He attended San Diego State University, where he played college baseball for the San Diego State Aztecs.
