Loh Kean Yew, Singapore's rising badminton star, is a man of few words when it comes to his personal life. He prefers to let his racket do the talking on the court.
But that doesn't mean he's not a family man. In fact, Loh is a devoted husband to his wife, Grace.
The couple met in secondary school and have been together for over 10 years. They tied the knot in 2021, shortly after Loh won the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Championships.
Grace is a constant source of support for her husband. She is often seen cheering him on from the sidelines at tournaments. She also helps him manage his social media accounts and schedule.
"She is my biggest cheerleader," Loh said in an interview with The Straits Times. "She always believes in me, even when I am down."
Off the court, Loh and Grace enjoy spending time together outdoors. They love hiking, cycling, and swimming. They also enjoy traveling together. They hope to visit more countries together in the future.
