Lokman

I was on my way to do something dreadful. Lokman, my best friend, was in trouble with a ruthless gang. A month ago, he had witnessed them committing a heinous crime, and now they were after him, threatening to hurt him and his family if he breathed a word.
Lokman is my childhood friend. We have been through thick and thin together. We have slept under the same blanket, shared our secrets, and made promises to each other. I couldn't just sit and watch while he was in danger.
As I walked towards the meeting point, my mind was racing. I didn't know what I was going to do, but I knew I had to do something.
When I approached the place, I took a deep breath and walked in. Inside, the room was dark and smoky. Lokman was sitting at the table with a group of men. The men were all large and muscular, with mean looks on their faces. I could tell they weren't the kind of people you wanted to mess with.
I walked over to the table and stood in front of Lokman. "Hey," I said. "I'm here."
Lokman looked up at me in surprise. "Ali," he said. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to help you," I said.
The men at the table laughed. "Help him?" one of them said. "You're just a kid."
"Yeah," said another. "What are you going to do, fight us all?"
I didn't say anything. I just looked at Lokman.
Lokman nodded. "He's with me," he said.
The men at the table looked at each other. Then they all turned to me.
"Okay," said the one who had spoken before. "We'll give you a chance. But if you try anything, we'll kill you both."
I nodded. "I understand," I said.
The men at the table stood up and left. Lokman and I were alone.
"What are we going to do?" he said.
"I don't know," I said. "But we'll figure it out."
And we did. We talked for hours, planning our escape. We knew it would be dangerous, but we were determined to do whatever it took to get Lokman out of there.
The next day, we put our plan into action. We snuck out of the house and ran away. We didn't know where we were going, but we knew we couldn't go home.
We spent the next few months hiding in the forest. We were both scared, but we had each other. We talked about our dreams and our goals. We laughed and we cried. We supported each other through thick and thin.
We knew that we would always be there for each other, no matter what.
One day, we were discovered by a group of people who were willing to help us. They took us to their village, where we were safe.
We stayed in the village for several months, until we were finally able to return home. When we did, we were greeted as heroes.
Lokman and I had been through a lot together, but we had come out stronger than ever. We had learned that true friendship is unbreakable.
I am so grateful for Lokman. He is my best friend, my brother, and my hero. I know that no matter what, he will always be there for me.
