Loreca Barbuzano Loses Her Marbles (Literally!)
Loreca Barbuzano was a woman of many talents. She could juggle, play the accordion, and even speak seven languages. But one thing she could not do was keep track of her belongings.
One day, Loreca was walking home from the grocery store when she realized she had lost her car keys. She retraced her steps, but they were nowhere to be found. Frantically, she called her husband, who came to her rescue with a spare set.
As Loreca and her husband were driving home, they passed a group of children playing in the street. One of the children was holding a pair of keys.
"Hey, those are my keys!" Loreca exclaimed.
She rolled down the window and asked the child if he had found them.
"Yeah," the child said. "I found them in the gutter."
Loreca was so relieved to have her keys back that she gave the child a big hug.
"Thank you so much!" she said. "You're a lifesaver!"
Loreca was so happy to have her keys back that she decided to celebrate by going out to dinner. She and her husband went to their favorite restaurant and ordered a big steak dinner.
As they were eating, Loreca reached into her purse for her napkin. But when she pulled out her hand, she realized that her purse was empty.
"Oh no!" Loreca cried. "I've lost my purse!"
Her husband tried to calm her down, but Loreca was beside herself. She had lost her car keys, and now she had lost her purse. She was sure that someone had stolen it.
Loreca and her husband went back to their car and drove home. As they were driving, Loreca noticed something on the side of the road.
"Stop the car!" she yelled.
Her husband pulled over, and Loreca got out and ran to the side of the road. There, lying in the grass, was her purse.
Loreca was so happy to have her purse back that she started to cry. She hugged her purse and kissed it.
"I'm so glad I found you!" she said. "I thought I had lost you forever."
Loreca and her husband drove home, and Loreca went to bed feeling very relieved. She had lost her car keys and her purse, but she had found them both. She was a very lucky woman.
The next morning, Loreca woke up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. As she was pouring herself a cup of coffee, she noticed something on the counter.
It was a pair of car keys.
Loreca stared at the keys in disbelief. She had lost her car keys yesterday, and now she had found them again. But how was that possible?
Loreca picked up the keys and examined them. They were definitely her keys. She could tell by the way they were shaped and by the key chain that was attached to them.
Loreca was so confused. She had lost her car keys yesterday, and now she had found them again. But how?
Loreca shrugged her shoulders and put the keys in her purse. She would never know how she had lost her keys and then found them again, but she was just glad to have them back.
Loreca Barbuzano was a woman who was always losing things, but she was also a woman who was always finding them. She was a very lucky woman, and she was very grateful for that.
